Air Lift's LoadLifter 5000 was designed with an exact purpose: to provide full-time, first-class support to your 3/4- or 1-ton pickup, motor home, or commercial truck. With this kit, you get a safer ride and simultaneously protect your vehicle from the strain that comes with hauling massive loads.
Carrying heavy cargo in your truck bed or trailer puts tremendous stress on your vehicle. Your brakes erode faster, your tires wear unevenly, and handling suffers severely. When towing, you might also experience excessive sway, bottoming out, and even improper and unsafe headlight aim. Fortunately, there is a solution to these problems. By pairing your existing suspension with the LoadLifter 5000, you can seriously beef up your suspension, ensure equal load distribution, and give your vehicle the support it desperately needs. Air Lift's LoadLifter 5000 provides up to 5,000 pounds of load-leveling capacity and distributes the weight of your payload to all four wheels. As a result, the stress on your OEM suspension is significantly reduced.
LoadLifter's air bags are adjustable from 5 to 100 psi for precise support, and they can be inflated independently of one another for front-to-rear and side-to-side leveling. They are made of high-quality, two-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber. Most air bags lose air at the ends, where the bag is enclosed with a steel cap, because the steel can rust and corrode over time, creating small holes. The endcaps on Air Lift air bags are fashioned from corrosion-proof Zytel nylon, a material that is both stronger and lighter than steel, ensuring that the air bags won't lose air. Also, LoadLifter 5000 comes with Air Lift's exclusive roll plates, which both protect your air springs and beef up the load capacity of the springs.
This system installs with the included brackets and hardware. Just mount the springs, inflate them, and ride. To inflate the LoadLifter springs, you just have to pump air in through the inflation valves. A line kit is included with the springs so that you can install the valves (one for each spring) in an easily accessible area - typically they are installed on the bumper. If you want to make the springs even easier to use, you can get a compressor and gauge system (sold separately).
Air Lift kits are designed to keep your vehicle at normal ride height. You can find the normal ride height of your vehicle by unloading it and measuring the distance between the bottom edge of your wheel well and the center of the hub. After you find and record this distance, you can regulate the amount of air that you put into your air springs to maintain normal ride height - even when you are hauling a heavy load. You will need to adjust the air pressure in your air bags according to the size of your load.
Along with a lifetime warranty that has no mileage restrictions, Air Lift offers a 60-day satisfaction guarantee. Just install and use LoadLifter 5000 springs for 60 days, and if you are not satisfied at the end of this time, you can remove them from your vehicle and return them for a full product refund. Now that's confidence.

Hello, neighbor Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 rear air helper springs. Now folks, these are a custom fit. It looks like they're gonna fit a 24 through 26 Toyota Tacoma. Now, that being said, I always recommend everyone check our homepage, etrailer.com up where it says "my vehicle information" on the center of the page, type in things like year, make or model, bed style, cab length, those kind of things. Make sure you're getting the right parts the first time.
Keep in mind, sometimes these videos can be outdated and it could possibly fit newer vehicles as well. So getting into it, folks, as you know, this kit would provide your vehicle with up to 5,000 pounds of load leveling support. It's gonna reduce strain on your rear suspension and improve both the safety and ride quality. It is designed for heavy duty applications such as a three quarter ton truck, one ton pickup, possibly motor homes, commercial trucks. As far as this style of airbag kit, we all, we already know this one fits the Tacoma, obviously.
Now, this keeps your vehicle level when you're hauling a heavy load. It's gonna help improve steering and braking performance while also maintaining a stiff headlight aim. So you're not gonna be squatting and pointing up to the sky no more. You're gonna be level and pointing back on the road where you need to be. This could potentially keep your tires from wearing faster as well.
With that load being level again, it's gonna take all that extra strain off your rear tires, and they're gonna last a little bit longer than they would if you didn't have these. Now, this particular kit does not come with a compressor or an end cab gauge. That's sold separately if you want to go that route. These are manually adjusted. You've got air lines that would hook into these ports right here.
This airline, you would basically cut in half, push it in, so push in fitting, and then your shrader valve would have the cap and all the attachments to attach it to your bumper for you to manually inflate or deflate. And this will level your vehicle from front to rear or vice versa. Again, depending on how you have it set up, you can adjust it side to side. So if you have an off center load, maybe you have a in bad camper maybe, and one side just a little bit heavier. With this, you're gonna be able to adjust that other side, maybe a little more PSI, then the other side to keep it level. Now these are all powder coated steel, so you don't have to worry about rust corrosion. The bags are a two ply fabric reinforced rubber, and the end caps, you can't really see 'em, but they're under the silver plates here. Those are made of a high strength zytel nylon that's much lighter and stronger and more corrosion resistant than the steel ones that are out there on the market that other brands use. Now, like I said, folks, everything here is a manual inflate to deflate. The install should be pretty simple. These brackets, I've got 'em loosely fit in here. All this kind of stuff would mount to your frame on the pickup truck, and you got the U-bolts here to help go around the axle and those kind of things. Just follow the instructions that come with it, and you should be good to go. Once again, 5,000 max capacity. The PSI rating, you can go between five PSI all the way up to 100 PSI. Again, you're gonna have to just kind of play with that on your specific load, your weight, your vehicle, that kind of stuff. Now that being said, we've got videos of us installing similar things on different vehicles. What our install guys do here is they start off measuring the ride height, and I believe that's in the instruction manual with this as well. But pretty much you're gonna measure from the ground to maybe the bottom side of the fender whenever you have your load loaded on there, or without a load on there, and that's gonna be what you're gonna aim for. So meaning, let's say you get, I don't know, 30 inches from your fender down to the ground, and then whenever you load everything in your trailer, a camper, whatever, you're hauling, stuff in the bed, let's say you squat down to, I don't know, 24 inches. So you're gonna need to inflate these bags until that measurement goes back to 30, back to the level OEM ride height. So pretty simple as far as how to figure that out. I know you can do it. It's not too hard. Again, these are the Air LiftLoader 5000 air helper springs for the rear axle. I'm Steven. Thanks so much for watching and as always, stay safe while you're towing.
